     The Petska’s are often asked if it is very difficult to introduce a horse to the Aqua-Tred. The key, to this is like anything else with horses, is patience. Make the first experience a positive one and you have no problems from then on out. The first day your horse will be lead through the Aqua-Tred several times until he is comfortable with it. The next step is to walk him through again and stop on the actual treadmill. Then the horse will walk on the treadmill for five minutes just to get use to it. The next day the steps are repeated, adding the jets. Horses in the Aqua-Tred often appear very relaxed, as if they are truly enjoying themselves.
